Job Description
Responsibilities
• Oversee all activities in SMC
• Assist and guide SMC staff in handling incidents if required
• Ensure SMC staff operate in an orderly manner
• All the actions taken must be updated to the IT Service Management system.
• Adhere to SMC Security Policy
• Design and build batch job flow that fulfill user requirements and facilitate delivery of required outputs;
• Monitor job run & performance such that job operations of applications and systems can be run smoothly and efficiently
• Perform test on automated job flow with users based on user requests
Responsibilities
• Perform remote console management
• Monitor system messages and batch jobs
• Ensure failure jobs are properly logged with the IT Service Management system
• Call relevant support according to the nature of the incidents
• All the actions taken must be updated to the IT Service Management system.
• Re-run failure jobs after support fix the problem
• Adhere to SMC Security Policy
Job Requirements
Requirements
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in IT Service Management Center
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Windows 2003 and 2012 server administration
• Leading team with shift duties
• Solid working experience in Windows AD and cluster administration
• Knowledge of AIX, Linux, IBM Tivoli, IBM MQ, IBM TSM, Symantec NetBackup/Backup Exec is preferred
• Knowledge of Networking and Firewall, Storage, SAN Switch, Load balance, ISO, ITIL
• A good team player with analytical & problem-solving skills, self-motivation and good interpersonal skills
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
Requirements
• Holder of Higher Diploma or above, candidate who studied IT-related subjects studied is highly preferred.
• Possess basic operation knowledge in Windows and basic PC Skills
• Knowledge of Unix / Network is preferred
• A good team player with analytical & problem-solving skills, self-motivation and good interpersonal skills
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Shift duty is required
