Job Summary:

An experienced PMO Manager will support the Project Management Office (PMO) in various programme-related activities and contribute to the successful delivery of projects, that include the tracking of programme deliverables and milestones, programme level risk and issue coordination, and coordination of the regular project and programme level reporting cycles. The PMO Manager will also provide project support, including, amongst other things, ensuring project plans and project documentation are complete and up-to-date, help acquire the necessary resources and skills, and contribute to the delivery of business systems to meet identified business requirements.

Job Duties:

The PMO Manager's responsibilities include: Assist in developing and maintenance of programme-level plans that aligns with programme goals and are consistent with workstream plans.

Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, including preparing agendas, documenting minutes, and tracking action items.

Facilitate the setup of project management tools such as Jira, Confluence and Sharepoint, and promote their adoption among users.

Assist in establishing a governance framework and project controls, ensure compliance with them by updating the PMO handbook and ensuring workstream teams adhere to the established guidelines.

Ensure accurate logging and tracking of RAID (Risk, Assumption, Issue, and Dependency)

Assist in managing the change control process, including logging change requests, coordinating review meetings and ensuring proper approval.

Assist in managing financial management activities, including monthly forecasting and annual budgeting exercise.

Support the assuror in carrying out assurance review activities.

Contribute to change management communication and engagement activities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project information and update project reports, and assist in the preparation of project reports, presentations, and other communication materials.

Maintain project-related documentation in document repository, ensure complete and up-to-date, manage version control.

Support the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO.

Job Requirements: University degree, preferably in IT and/or Finance related subject

Minimum 5 years' experience in programme management, project life cycle and governance

Experience of working within a structured project management framework, adopting agile and waterfall software delivery principles

The successful candidate is likely to have a formal qualification (e.g. PMP, Prince2)

Knowledge of project management tools and techniques (e.g. MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Sharepoint)

Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills in English, both written and verbal

Effective in unifying and creating teams of people with disparate skills

Builds trust and demonstrates integrity in all circumstances

Desirable Skills: Experience of working in financial industry, preferably in well-established financial organizations with exposure to electronic trading, clearing, risk management and/or settlement of cash and/or derivatives markets;

Knowledge of financial markets and industry drivers.
