Responsibilities:
Manage the business operational risk for the APAC global markets business
Ensure the company complies with the HKMA operational resillience framework and regulations
Managing operational risk incidents, general operational queries/issues, investigate the rootcauses and ensure remediation actions are completed
Perform the Risk & Control Self-Assessment (“RCSA”)
Keeping updated on regulations and rules that impact the Division and the entity, and ensuring compliance within first line
Developing and designing new controls & processes within first line
Monitoring various risk management reports & controls
Supporting regulatory enquiries / inspections / applications, internal audits and compliance testing
Requirements:
Good knowledge of global markets business and products
Minimum 8 years of working experience in banks in Hong Kong
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound judgment calls
Be able to find balance between commerciality and prudent risk management
Ability to interact with stakeholders of varying seniority in different groups
Hold a professional qualification such as CFA, FRM or PRM
