Job Description
• Accountable for data center Facilities Management (FM), Internet Access / IP Transit and Managed Services business and revenue growth in Hong Kong and China.
• Analyze Hong Kong and China FM & cloud market and technology trends to identify market opportunities, and develop horizontal or vertical market Internet Access / IP Transit & Managed Services solutions, by in-house resources or through partnering with hardware / software vendors, service providers or carriers in HK and China.
• Accelerate customer adoption of data center products and solutions, by driving segment-based sales campaign, marketing & promotion activities, both by in-house marketing resources or by joint-sales & co-marketing with partners.
• Build and sustain company’s leadership position, by winning high-revenue or high-impact customers, by acquiring local or international awards / certifications, or establishing renowned vertical / horizontal market best practices.
• Provide market Intelligence on customer’s IT needs, competitor moves and FM technology trends and practices, to assist Product Development & Engineering teams to enhance group’s products and platform technologies
• Accountable for prescribed new business development key performance indicators (KPI’s), including but not limited to customer demand / revenue targets, solution ecosystem set-up, or industry achievement awards.
Job Requirements
• University Degree holder or equivalent in Information Engineering, Telecom Engineering or Computer Science.
• A minimum of 6 years’ working experience IT & Telecom industry, of which at least 2 years in Internet Service Provider (ISP) or Data Center product management or product marketing roles.
• Hands-on experience in formulation and implementation of product marketing plans for Enterprise / MNC’s major IT, Networking and FM business acquisition.
• Experience in project management of mainland China customer’s IT&T projects an advantage.
• Self-motivated and result-oriented. Good business acumen & analytic skills. Good verbal and written communications skills. Good interpersonal skills.
• High proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (Putonghua).
