Research Head (Bond Syndicate or DCM Syndicate Head) (Ref: GCF-RH-ML-ICBCA) Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the team in its aforementioned responsibilities, including pricing recommendations, calls, etc.
Represent the team within the Department and within the bank, as well as to the market.
Make decisions on pricing recommendations and strategy.
Build existing and potential investor relationships in conjunction with sales.
Proactively reach out to the market for deal pipeline, investor trends, etc.
Guide and train the team on assessing the market as well as issuers and appropriate credit metrics.
Requirements:
University graduate in Business/ Finance or related disciplines, preferably with MBA/ CFA.
Minimum of 10 years’ banking experience with sound knowledge of relevant debt capital markets industry.
Deep understanding of capital markets and fixed income product.
Excellent leadership skills.
Direct experience building and managing a team.
Fluent in written and spoken English, Putonghua and Cantonese.
Candidates with less experience will be also considered.
